Rental Agreement

Anyone using this spa should read this form as a copy of this form will need to be signed for both us and you as the customer at point of hire.

1. Your hot tub has been set at approx 38c.

2. To change temp simply turn thermostat dial left for cool, and right for hotter.

3. To use your hot tub, remove lid and store carefully. Enter water carefully NO JUMPING and make sure it is not too hot (test first).

4. To operate air jets push once to start and once to stop.

5. When not using spa replace lid.

6. The hot tub will maintain temp by itself, don’t worry if spa continues to run.

7. Do not use any electrical items within five feet of this spa including telephone.

8. Children must be over ten years old and accompanied by an adult.

9. At more than 37.5c you should not spend more than fifteen minutes in the spa.

10. Pregnant women and persons with heart disease, circulatory problems, diabetes or low or high blood pressure should consult a doctor before using the spa hot tub.

11. People with infectious diseases should not use a spa or hot tub.

12. Do not use drugs or alcohol before or during the use of a spa or hot tub to avoid unconsciousness and possible drowning.

13. Do not use a spa or hot tub immediately following strenuous exercise

14. Lock cover when spa hot tub is not in use and do not climb on top of the cover

15. It is essential that everyone using the hot tub, showers before use and no foreign bodies e.g. grass, earth, sand, stones or sharp objects are introduced to the water.

Your spa will perform better if kept clean, therefore more enjoyable to use.

16. Remove filter each day and power-wash with a hose set on max
Pressure. Failure to do this may result in a decline in temperature for which Hot Tubs On Hire will not take responsibility.

17. Your hot tub is designed for 4-6 persons. Overloading the spa can cause damage for which you will be liable.

18. A daily amount of 50g (2 scoops) of Oxysure 002 needs to be added to
the hot tub. This will oxidise organic matter. See separate sheet for instructions

19. Test Bromine/Chlorine level 3 times per day and record on log, adjust as required. This is a disinfectant. See separate sheet for instructions

20. Test PH level 3 times per day and record on log adjust, as required. This is the acidity of the water. See separate sheet for instructions

21. No substance will introduced to the water unless supplied or purchased from Somerset Hot Tub Hire

Any damage incurred due to misuse or not following the above recommendations must be paid for in full. Undersigned renter understands the above information and acknowledges that the use of the spa is at the renter’s risk. Renter has read the owners manual and understands all risks involved and care of the spa while in the renters possession, Undersigned renter agrees to release this establishment from any and all liabilities incurred with the use of the spa or hot tub.
