What
You Need To Do Whilst Hiring A Spa N A Box Hot Tub
Once
we have delivered and installed your spa n a box hot tub,
we will then fill and add the appropriate chemicals ready for you
to use the following day if the optimum temperature has been reached.
We
advise that you test the temperature of the water before you use
the spa
You
will need to test the waters PH levels three times a day whilst
you are renting the hot tub (ph strips will be provided, and you
will be shown what to do on installation)
You
will then need to make a log on a record sheet provided of the PH
level you have tested (this is very simple, you just take a strip
from the pot you will be provided with and match the colour from
the chart on the back of the pot)
If
the PH is too low or too high, then you will need to rectify this
by adding some chemicals that you will be left with. (again this
is very simple you just add ph+ or ph- until the PH levels are at
the guideline of between 7.0-7.6)
You
will also need to add two scoops of oxidiser each day, to keep the
water clean and fresh. (THE PUMP AND BLOWER JETS SHOULD BE LEFT
ON WHEN CHEMICALS ARE ADDED, AND THE HOT TUB SHOULD BE CLEAR OF
PEOPLE)
To
ensure that your hot tub remains working well at the desired temperature,
it is important that you change the filter once throughout a weekend
hire. (A SPARE, CLEAN FILTER WILL BE LEFT WITH YOU IN A BUCKET.
WHEN YOU CHANGE THE FILTER, TURN THE PUMP AND POWER OFF AND LEAVE
YOUR USED FILTER SUBMERGED IN WATER UNTIL COLLECTION)
Now
that you have replaced the filter, the pump will need bleeding before
you switch it all back on. (YOU WILL BE SHOWN AT POINT OF HIRE HOW
TO BLEED THE AIR AND YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS. PUMP
MUST NOT BE ON WHILST BLEEDING) Pumps need to be air bled each time
the hot tub is switched off and then re-started, so it is advised
that you keep your hot tub on during your hire, but turn off the
jets when not in use to maintain the optimum temperature level.
If
you follow these steps then your experience will be a pleasant and
enjoyable one. These steps are in place to ensure your safety and
the safety of our equipment.
All
you need to remember is the FOUR simple rules which are very easy
to follow once shown:
Test
3 x per day and log result
Add oxidiser everyday
Change filter once on a weekend hire
Air bleed pump after filter change
Take
care of yourself and our equipment throughout your hire
